Nick opened Fort Collins Collision Repair in 1995 after working on cars since he was a teenager. His love of cars started at a young age with a mother who was a racecar driver during his childhood (she currently still drives a cherry red Lexus convertible). He started working on cars because he wanted to have access to a nice car that he wasn’t able to afford otherwise. In 1984, he moved to sunny Colorado from Chicago to attend CSU where he received his Bachelors degree in Industrial Sciences. There he also met his wife of 27 years, Mary. He later spent 6 years as an auto body teacher at Aims Community College until he got to the opportunity to open the shop doors. Now, 19 years later, he still has the same passion for the muscle cars of his youth. In his free time he enjoys golfing, skiing, snowmobiling, spending time with his wife and three grown children, as well as spoiling the “shop mascot,” Vito.
Josh has been with Fort Collins Collision Repair since 2009. On a daily basis, you will see him running the office, managing production, writing estimates, managing parts, and implementing quality control. He also makes it back to the shop occasionally to work on cars. After working in a big box retail store for 8 years, he decided that working in a more service oriented industry was a much better fit. He enjoys the personal feel of the interactions with co-workers and and customers. In his free time he enjoys camping, action motorsports, backcountry snowmobiling, riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers, as well as watersports like boating, jet skiing, wakeboarding, and skiing.
Joanna is the ultimate go-to person at the shop. She holds the title of the Bookkeeper, but in reality does so much more. She has been with FCCR since 2010, and her daily duties consist of bookkeeping, dealing with parts/returns, detailing vehicles, and implementing quality control. She stumbled upon the automotive industry while taking classes in college, and realized she really enjoyed the administrative piece. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Kerry is the newest member of the FCCR team as of August 2013. He brought years of mechanical experience to the shop as the owner of Rocky Mountain Radiator, which still runs today through FCCR.He originally fell into the automotive industry because he loved the hands on process of putting cars together. He is happily married, has four children, and enjoys hunting and fishing.
Darin has been with FCCR for over 10 years. He was originally interested in the automotive world because he felt there was a lot of opportunity in the industry. Darin started out as a technician, and later decided he wanted to be a painter and hasn’t looked back since. He enjoys the outdoors, camping, and spending time with his kids and family.
Will was originally one of Nick’s students at Aim’s Community College, and has been working on and off with Nick and the shop since 1988. Most of his daily duties include replacing panels, welding, and doing cosmetic repairs. He got involved in the automotive industry by repairing and restoring vehicles for practice. He enjoys hunting, fishing, nature walks, rock climbing, riding bikes, dancing, and movies.
CJ has been with FCCR since 2010. He was recently deployed overseas, and returned to the shop in January 2013. He developed a love of cars during his childhood when he would spend time working on them with his grandfather. In his free time he enjoys snowboarding, skydiving, completing vehicle projects, and drilling with the National Guard.
DJ has been with FCCR since 2011. On a daily basis, you will see him sanding cars in preparation for the paint booth. He got involved in the auto body world because he loved working on cars. In his free time he enjoys working on his Datsun 260Z.
